The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties. There is nothing here quietly following you around.
When you use the contact form, the details you type — your name, email address and message — are emailed to me so I can reply. That's the only reason they're collected.
Like any website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. These are managed by the hosting provider and rotated automatically.
You can ask me what I hold about you, or to delete it, at any time — just email hello@bmclennan.com. Since the only thing I keep is our email correspondence, that's usually a quick job.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
